Stuart uses his lifelong passion for real estate to help clients either buy the perfect home or sell houses for maximum value. What sets him apart from other agents is a deep dedication to client service combined with a rich and diversified professional background of experience. He has 16+ years of experience in residential brokerage along with a background from construction management, marketing and sales.
Several professional certifications add to Stuart’s ability to help clients meet their real estate needs. Those include: CLHMS – A member of the Luxury Institute – Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist; GRI – Graduate REALTOR Institute; CRS – Certified Residential Specialist Designation; ABR – Accredited Buyers; SRES – Seniors Real Estate Specialist; and, CNE – Certified Negotiation Expert.
Currently, Stuart is a Broker Associate with Dochen REALTORS and serves clients in the fast growing and dynamic Austin, Texas, area real estate market. While managing more than 15 million in transactions per year, he helps clients with needs ranging from finding a home when professionally transferring to the Austin area, to changing homes, to making their first home purchase. He also has in-depth experience in home renovation and remodels, dealing with turnkey teams to assist all phases of home updates.
Stuart is also a licensed Broker Associate in Florida. Before relocating to Austin, he lived off the beautiful beaches of Northwest Florida. There, he was director of marketing for a boutique real estate firm with both commercial and residential divisions. His core expertise was in medium-to-large-scale mixed use land development and sales projects. There he was awarded two top sales agent awards with over $35 million in sales. Stuart also has broad experience outside the real estate industry that he leverages to help his clients. He was previously the Midwest regional sales manager for Peregrine Systems selling CAD-based planning and management software to the Facilities Management and Design industry. During that time he was based in San Francisco for six years. He is a graduate of the REALTOR Institute and of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Interpersonal Communications. He also has a Certificate of French Studies from the Catholic Institute of Paris.
A native Quincy, Massachusetts (Boston area), Stuart comes from a family with three sisters, two brothers and parents that have celebrated more than 55 years of marriage. As a dedicated “foodie,” he enjoys the wonderful culinary food and wine scene in Austin. From food trucks to fine dining, he’s always on the search for the ultimate amuse-bouche or new culinary experience! Stuart’s service back to the communities he calls home has a strong focus on the arts. He served on the Board of Directors for both the Seaside Repertory Theater and the Culture Arts Association of Northwest Florida.
In Austin, he volunteered and supported the grand opening of the McCallum Fine Arts Academy and supports opportunities to provide art education to children and families. Stuart and his partner have recently renovated a 1960’s home in one of the hottest zip codes in Austin- 78745.
